Staff Grade Occupational Therapist - Tallaght

Occupational Therapists,Staff grade required by Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, for new opportunities in Tallaght Hospital.

The Occupational Therapy team currently consists of 14 Occupational Therapists. The team and individuals meet regularly for learning, up-skilling, team meetings, service review & planning and social events. The Occupational Therapy service is committed to continuous professional development and growth; providing educational opportunities to all staff in the form of in-service training; e learning and development portal access and supporting funding applications for external studies where suitable.

The OT will be responsible for the provision of a high quality, person-centred Occupational Therapy service to this designated clinical area and will carry out clinical duties as assigned by the Occupational Therapist Manager.

The Occupational Therapist will carry out clinical duties including all aspects of the OT process from initial assessments, goal setting, intervention, to outcome measures and onward referrals. Both individual and group work interventions are used in this setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working as part of the Occupational Therapy team
• Provide assessment and intervention
• Comprehensive clinical induction, access to some HSE training as required by the role

The Candidate:

• A recognized qualification as an Occupational Therapist with CORU registration
• Permission to work in Ireland
• Professional approach to work
• Flexibility in work practice
