Stock Controller - Frs Recruitment

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced Stock Controller to take ownership of inventory control and stores operations on site. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong organisational skills, who is comfortable working independently while also guiding and supporting others when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee stock control processes, including cycle counts and stocktakes
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the stores
• Track and expedite orders with suppliers
• Handle returns and repairs
• Ensure agreed site performance metrics are met
• Respond to site and customer-specific requests in line with contracts
• Liaise with technicians and engineers to resolve queries
• Complete administrative and system-based tasks accurately
• Other ad hoc duties as required

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in stores, warehouse, or inventory management (minimum 2 years)
• Background in stock control with exposure to leading or supporting a small team an advantage
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Maximo, etc.) desirable
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and proactive in approach
• Knowledge of engineering parts would be beneficial

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in Ireland
• Ability to reliably commute to Longford or plan to relocate before starting
