Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in Cork that offers a 4-day work week and excellent work-life balance? My client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their business in a varied role.

This position combines Accounts Payable and Receivable responsibilities with office management and administrative support, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth financial and day-to-day operation of the office.

This role is fully onsite for the 4 days and based in Cork City.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and oversee financial data, reporting, and compliance with legal requirements
  • Prepare and process invoices, client receipts, and payments
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare and submit CSO returns
  • Prepare and file VAT returns with Revenue
  • Cash management and liaising with banks
  • Support external auditors during year-end processes
  • Assist with invoicing and order processing, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Ensure efficient day-to-day office operations, including scheduling and meeting coordination
  • Manage office supplies and inventory and some adhoc duties.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounting or finance role
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
