Health & Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety laws and internal policies.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; report findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and safety training.
- Deliver health and safety training to employees and management.
- Ensure availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate emergency procedures and drills.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and participate in audits when required.
- Continuously review and update safety policies in response to legislation and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of [2-5] years of experience in a health and safety role.
- Certified Health and Safety Officer (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA certification) preferred.
