About the Role
We are looking for a skilled FM Technician (Mechanical/Plumbing) to join our Facilities Management team at a leading production and manufacturing site in Newbridge.In this hands-on role, you will carry out maintenance, repair, and servicing of mechanical and plumbing systems within an integrated facilities management (IFM) environment. Working as part of a dedicated onsite team, you’ll help ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all building services while delivering high standards of performance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Perform planned, reactive, and corrective maintenance across mechanical and plumbing systems.
Support inspections and statutory compliance for HVAC, water systems, boilers, and life safety equipment.Manage work orders through the CAFM (Maximo) system, ensuring tasks are completed to SLA standards.
Complete all required documentation including permits, risk assessments, and service records.
Respond promptly and professionally to client and helpdesk requests.
Assist with minor installations, repairs, and asset modifications.
Promote safety and compliance by adhering to site health and safety regulations at all times.
Represent Sodexo with professionalism and contribute to a positive client relationship.
About You:Qualified in a mechanical or plumbing discipline with hands-on experience in a building services or industrial environment.
Experience with HVAC, water systems, and boilers.
Strong awareness of health, safety, and compliance standards (experience in food production environments desirable).
Self-motivated and able to manage workload effectively.
Good IT literacy and familiarity with handheld devices for logging tasks.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Full Irish driving licence.
Desirable: Experience using CAFM systems such as Maximo.
Experience in GMP or audit-driven environments.Background in food manufacturing or production.
