Ornua is a leading dairy co-operative which sells premium dairy products globally on behalf of its Member Co-operatives, Ireland’s dairy processors and, in turn, Irish dairy farmers.
Ornua has revenues of €3.4 billion and is supported by a global team of approximately 2,800 employees. The Group operates as a commercial organisation across 10 business units, including 12 production facilities located in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Africa.
The commercial organisation is responsible for the marketing and sales of Ornua’s consumer brands including Ireland’s most successful food export: Kerrygold. Consumer markets are served by production facilities in Ireland, Germany and the UK and by in-market Sales & Marketing Teams in Asia, Germany, Ireland, MEA, Poland, Spain, rest of Europe and North and Latin America.
It also manages the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products, the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers globally, and the implementation of de-risking and trading strategies to manage market volatility.These activities are supported by production facilities and in-market teams in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Africa.
The Role
The Supply Chain Analyst will support the Supply Chain Operations Leadership Team in driving efficiency across Ornua’s supply chain. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the end to end the value chain.The analyst will leverage interpersonal and problem-solving abilities to gather insights from internal departments and external partners, recommending improvements that enhance overall supply chain performance.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration- Participate in or lead collaborative conversations with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and optimal ways of working
- Facilitate discussions that define opportunities for improvement and translate them into actionable initiatives
- Conduct thorough research and validation of supply chain data to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Continuously review methodologies and processes to further drive improvements across the department.
- Regularly review and validate supply chain costs using relevant systems and processes.
- Partner with the Business Process Manager to develop reporting tools that improve visibility of costs and highlight opportunities for savings.
- Track and measure supply chain performance, providing clear reports to stakeholders.
- Support leadership in designing and implementing methods to collect and manage supply chain data.
- Maintain professional relationships with service providers, promoting company values and initiatives.

Proven experience in analysing and improving supply chain data, processes, and information.
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations.
Hands-on experience with databases and reporting tools, particularly Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
