This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
We are looking to employ a highly motivated and committed individual who is interested in working for an organisation that makes a difference to people’s lives. The successful candidate will be part of ADAPT’s Charity Shop Team who are responsible for raising funds to help support the work of ADAPT.
Key Responsibilities
Public Awareness Duties: Assist in the design of ADAPT promotional materials
Assist with promoting the profile of ADAPT/ADAPT Shop using social mediaDesign posters and leaflets to promote ADAPT Shop
Photographing of shop items for online market sales
Attend awareness raising events as required for ADAPT
Assist with the 16 Days of Action campaign and any other campaigns that ADAPT may run.
Assist with promoting fund-raising events on social media and assist in preparing and helping out with fund-raising events as required.
Record all requests for public awareness materials on computer
Duties in assisting in the Shop: Assist in the day-to-day running of ADAPT Charity shop
Checking that all electrical and battery items are in working orderRepairing damaged items for re-sale
Dealing with customer queries, requests and concerns
Dealing with sales, merchandising and display.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the Shop
Operating the cash register
