We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Project Manager to lead our multidisciplinary Design & Project Implementation team delivering innovative solutions within the Water Treatment and Environmental sector.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for managing projects across Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation disciplines. You will play a key role in delivering complex engineering projects from concept design through to commissioning and client handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Design & Project team across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Oversee project delivery from concept design through to commissioning and handover
  • Manage project planning, scheduling, procurement, resourcing, budgeting, EHS, and execution
  • Coordinate project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders
  • Review and oversee technical drawings, AutoCAD layouts, P&IDs, quotations, and project documentation
  • Conduct client site visits, surveys, audits, and technical reviews
  • Support tendering and bid submissions with technical and commercial input
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Liaise closely with service and chemical treatment divisions to ensure best customer outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and process optimisation within the department
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Process Engineering, or related discipline
  • 7+ years’ industry experience in a similar technical/project environment
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong project delivery experience from design through commissioning
  • Experience with AutoCAD and related design tools
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and customer management skills
  • Strong understanding of EHS standards and compliance
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Valid work authorisation for Ireland
Desirable
  • Previous experience in Water Treatment or Environmental applications
