Senior Design Project Manager New

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Project Manager to lead our multidisciplinary Design & Project Implementation team delivering innovative solutions within the Water Treatment and Environmental sector.
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for managing projects across Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation disciplines. You will play a key role in delivering complex engineering projects from concept design through to commissioning and client handover.

Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Design & Project team across multiple engineering disciplines
- Oversee project delivery from concept design through to commissioning and handover
- Manage project planning, scheduling, procurement, resourcing, budgeting, EHS, and execution
- Coordinate project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders
- Review and oversee technical drawings, AutoCAD layouts, P&IDs, quotations, and project documentation
- Conduct client site visits, surveys, audits, and technical reviews
- Support tendering and bid submissions with technical and commercial input
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and within budget
- Liaise closely with service and chemical treatment divisions to ensure best customer outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and process optimisation within the department
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Process Engineering, or related discipline
- 7+ years’ industry experience in a similar technical/project environment
- Proven experience leading and mentoring multidisciplinary teams
- Strong project delivery experience from design through commissioning
- Experience with AutoCAD and related design tools
- Excellent communication, organisational, and customer management skills
- Strong understanding of EHS standards and compliance
- Full clean driving licence
- Valid work authorisation for Ireland
- Previous experience in Water Treatment or Environmental applications
