Chef de Partie - County Mayo - Castlebar

Sky Staffing Solutions is hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Chef de Partie in County Mayo. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced chef to take responsibility for a kitchen section and contribute to the delivery of high-quality dishes in a busy and well-structured kitchen environment.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, well-organised, and committed to maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage your designated section and ensure mise en place is prepared to required standards
• Prepare and cook dishes in accordance with set recipes and service expectations
• Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining excellent food quality and presentation
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines and ensure all food safety and hygiene practices are followed
• Collaborate with the kitchen team and communicate effectively with senior chefs
• Assist in mentoring and guiding junior kitchen staff when required
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your work area and kitchen equipment
• Contribute to ongoing menu development and team success

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Chef de Partie or similar role
• Strong cooking and plating skills with attention to detail
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
