Duct Installers for Waterford City and East Cork

We are seeking skilled Duct Fitters to join our team for on-going projects in Waterford City & East Cork. The successful candidates will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing ductwork systems for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret isometric drawings , technical drawings, and specifications to determine duct layout. Be able to measure takeoffs for workshop

Measure, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal ducts and fittings using hand and power tools.

Install ducts, dampers, grills, diffusers, and related components according to project requirements.

Secure duct systems with hangers, supports, and brackets.

Seal and insulate ducts to minimize air leakage and ensure energy efficiency.

Inspect, test, and adjust duct systems to verify proper airflow and performance.

Perform repairs, modifications, and replacements of existing ductwork when required.

Comply with health and safety regulations and company standards at all times.

Collaborate with HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience as a duct fitter or sheet metal worker in HVAC.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and plans.

Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal machinery.

Good knowledge of HVAC systems and air distribution principles.

Physical strength and stamina to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork abilities.
