Ward & Ward Ltd. are a well-established family run business specialising in domestic haulage and plant hire. We are currently seeking a candidate for the position of experienced Plant Mechanic to maintain our expanding fleet.

Candidates would ideally have a Minimum of 5 years HGV, Plant and Construction equipment experience. Pay Scale will be determined by Skills and Level of Qualifications.

• Service all plant to maximise efficiency of the fleet.
• Fault finding and preventative maintenance.
• Coordination of service and repairs
• Understand the job system with the ability to work on different machines at any given time.
• Good time management.
• Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Site visits for machinery breakdowns / services will be required.
• Keeping records of all construction plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic, and electrical equipment.

• Fully qualified plant mechanic desirable.
• Good computer literacy.
• Good experience in hydraulics systems.
• Full clean driver’s license.
• Able to communicate and be fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Ability to work on own initiative or with a team and to strict deadlines.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Knowledge of CVRT
