Senior Data Scientist
Job Description- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into data science problems, transforming raw data into analytical data assets, data products, and actionable intelligence for faster decision-making on large-scale data platforms. Responsible for requirement gathering, data model design, ETL process design, and data product development and maintenance.
- Provide ready-to-use data to analysts, data scientists, and engineers for insights, predictive analytics, and machine learning. Influence data instrumentation through an understanding of business needs.
- Own the design and development of reliable, stable, scalable, and high-performance data solution features and pipelines.
- Design and enhance analytical data sources for greater usability and availability by leveraging advanced and emerging technologies.
- Establish comprehensive monitoring frameworks to proactively detect, investigate, and resolve data issues. Identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly, bridging technical requirements with business implications.
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science & Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to translate business requirements into analytical data assets; experience in operational data ETL and data warehouse/data mart development preferred.
- Experience with platforms such as Teradata, Hadoop, or Google Cloud is advantageous.
- Strong data analytics background, including statistical and data modeling, with 2+ years' experience in data science, data development, or quantitative optimization.
- Skilled in report analysis and development using BI tools (e.g., Tableau). Ability to quickly learn new programming skills.
- Proficiency in Python and/or R; knowledge of machine learning and feature engineering is a plus.
- Experience with product design and management is beneficial.
- Ability to draw actionable conclusions from analysis and link findings to business outcomes and strategic goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset, and accountability for delivering high-quality results.
- Quick learner, problem solver, and proactive team contributor.
