Van Driver (Day Rate – Multi-Drop)
Delivering essential goods across busy urban and suburban routes, this day-rate van driver role offers stability, independence, and a straightforward routine. With €150 per day guaranteed, a fully supplied van, and no requirement to return to base each evening, it’s designed for drivers who enjoy autonomy and can handle a high-volume drop schedule.
The role starts at 10:00am on Day 1 for onboarding and vehicle allocation. Thereafter, start times are at 05:30am daily, offering a head start to beat the traffic and complete up to 100 stops per day. You’ll need to be confident using modern smartphone technology, including Google Maps, scanning apps, and digital proof-of-delivery systems.
Responsibilities:
- Complete up to 100 stops per day across pre-planned routes
- Use Google Maps and other digital navigation tools to manage your route efficiently
- Scan parcels and confirm deliveries using a smartphone or scanner
- Keep the supplied van in clean and roadworthy condition
- Maintain communication with the support team throughout the day
- Manage time independently without the need to return to depot in the evening
Requirements:
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery driving preferred
- Must be comfortable with early morning starts (05:30am onwards)
- Tech-savvy – able to use smartphones, apps, and GPS confidently
- Strong understanding of local area routes or willingness to learn quickly
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Full EU driving licence
- Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer service
