Lab Analyst- Gene Therapy
Excellent opportunity for a QC Lab Analyst with min 3 years GMP Industry Chemistry/Biochemistry experience to join a leading biopharma company located in the South East region
The Lab Analyst will have the opportunity to participate in equipment qualification, method transfer and routine in-process and release testing within the Gene Therapy QC lab.
The Lab Analyst will ideally be experienced in some of the following methods : qPCR, HPLC, Western Blot, SDS-PAGE, DNA extraction, Spectrophotometry.
What you will be doing- Routine analytical testing
- Calibration of laboratory equipment
- Record Out-of-Specification, non-conformances, investigations and implementation of corrective action(s) where applicable.
- Assistance with the development and updating of SOPs and laboratory documentation.
- Maintain QC facilities to meet GMP requirements
- Quality Management System maintenance , document control and ensuring data integrity
- Execution of equipment qualification and method validation/transfer when required.
- Involvement in continuous improvement programmes.
- Degree in either of the following disciplines: Biochemistry, Chemistry.
- Minimum 3 years experience working in a GMP/Pharma environment.
- Experience in working with the following methods e.g. qPCR, HPLC, Western Blot, SDS-PAGE, DNA extraction, Spectrophotometry.
- Experience with mammalian cell culture and/or flow cytometry would be hugely beneficial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
