Key Responsibilities:
Lifecycle Engagement: Improve the entire service lifecycle-from design and deployment to operation and refinement.Reliability Focus: Ensure our services are reliable, fault-tolerant, and efficiently scalable while keeping costs in check.
Monitoring and Maintenance: Keep a watchful eye on service health by measuring availability, latency, and overall system performance. Participate in sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.
Big Data Design: Design and implement robust, scalable big data systems that support our core products and business needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid understanding of data structures, complexity analysis, and software design principles.
- Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Kafka, ClickHouse, Hive, and related technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of data ingestion, modelling, processing, ETL design, and dimensional modelling strategies.
- Experience running production-grade services at scale with an understanding of cloud-native technologies and networking.
- Proficiency in developing tools and APIs to minimize manual interaction with systems using various coding and scripting standards.
- Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems is a plus!
