Kitchen Porter – Dublin 4
We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join a busy, high-volume healthcare kitchen in Dublin 4. This hands-on role is essential to keeping the kitchen running smoothly, supporting hygiene, food preparation, and organisation. Ideal for candidates with experience in healthcare or high-volume kitchens who thrive in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentWash dishes, cookware, and utensils efficiently to support ongoing service
Assist with basic food prep tasks such as peeling, chopping, and measuring
Stock ward pantries and beverage stations
Record temperatures and assist with HACCP compliance
Work closely with kitchen and ward staff to ensure smooth, hands-on kitchen operations
Requirements:
6–12 months’ experience in a high-volume, hands-on kitchen; healthcare experience is a plusBasic knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
Legal right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance
Ability to provide 5 years of work references
Flexible and reliable, able to work weekdays, weekends, and Bank Holidays
Team player with strong communication skills and a can-do attitude
Salary & Benefits:
€17.35/hour, with Double Pay on Sundays & Bank HolidaysFull-time, daytime hours (typically 7:00 am – 6:30 pm)
Varied shifts Monday to Sunday depending on client needs
