Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their team on a prestigious city-centre project in Cork. This landmark development involves the restoration of a well-known public building alongside the construction of a new 7-storey commercial structure, blending heritage preservation with modern engineering excellence.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated professional to play a key role in delivering one of Cork's most high-profile construction projects.

• Oversee day-to-day site engineering operations, ensuring project quality, safety, and programme targets are achieved.
• Coordinate with project managers, design teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain smooth project delivery.
• Manage setting out, surveying, and QA documentation in line with company and client standards.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, drawings, and regulatory requirements.
• Support junior engineers and promote a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement on site.

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor on high-rise commercial construction projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, façade systems, and fit-out coordination.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a focus on quality and safety.
• Proficiency in surveying and setting out instruments (e.g., GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD).
