We are growing our team and have a great opportunities for ambitious chefs to work with us in our gorgeous garden cafe, overlooking Cork City.
We are looking for an Experienced Chef De Partie to join our talented kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for a chef who is looking to progress their experience in a progressive and creative kitchen. This role is a full time position for 39 hours per week.
Our ideal candidates has the following: Demonstrated 2/3+ years experience in a similar professional kitchen.
Creative skills and passion for baking, preparation, service and presentation.Proven experience of managing their own section.
Extensive and refined baking skills with interest in vegan options.
Experience in food production for catering and events.
A passion for and commitment to contemporary food, provenance, sustainability, zero waste and high quality service.
Motivated and ambitious with ability to handle fast paced service while always maintaining a high level of service.
Adherence to systems, recipes, food safety and HACCP procedures.
Thrives working under pressure and enjoys working as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
Hardworking and reliable with flexibility to work throughout the week.
The duties and responsibilities in this Senior Chef de Partie role include, but are not limited to:
Work with management to plan, source and execute menu items that are sustainable, creative, innovative, authentic and reflect the vision, ethos and direction of Good Day Deli/ Nádúr Deli.
Assist the Head Chef and Senior Chefs in implementing current and new menus and ensuring that the food offering is always at the highest level of quality for the benefit of our guests and Good Day Deli/ Nádúr Deli..
Take full responsibility for, oversee and manage your sections of the kitchen daily. Organise and manage the chef station on a daily and weekly basis. Ensure stock is maintained, stored and fulfilled to requirements.
Ensure that the highest standard of service, including all of the standard operating
procedures and policies, are met on a daily basis by all team members. Ensure that high standards of quality and consistency are maintained at all times in Good Day Deli/ Nádúr Deli.Ensure excellent hygiene standards are upheld in line with statutory guidelines, including HACCP, daily in the kitchen.
Support management in implementing a sustainability policy and procedures for the kitchen.
Demonstrate an aptitude and desire to work on own initiative, commitment to thesuccessful operations of the business on a daily basis.
