Automation Manufacturing Engineer

A global medical device manufacturer is seeking an Automation or Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve automated production operations.
Key Responsibilities- Support and optimise automated manufacturing lines to improve safety, quality, and output
- Deliver engineering projects, including equipment upgrades and facility modifications
- Troubleshoot automation and minimise downtime across production lines
- Maintain engineering, validation, and change documentation
- Monitor production performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Engineering qualification (Associate's required, Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years' experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of automation, quality systems, and compliance standards (cGMP, FDA, ISO)
- Medical device or pharmaceutical experience desirable
Key details:
- Duration: 6 month contract - likely to extend to 12
- Hours: 40 hours a week
- Location: onsite role in Dublin with some hybrid opportunity
- Competitive hourly rate dependent on experience
