Job Description

Mulcahy Construction Limited is seeking 6 experienced Shuttering Carpenters with advanced expertise in structural concrete and reinforced formwork systems for large-scale commercial and civil projects.

The role requires precision execution of complex formwork systems and the ability to work independently on reinforced concrete structural elements.

Key Responsibilities

Installation of advanced shuttering systems for reinforced concrete structures

Construction of complex formwork for columns, beams, retaining walls and slabs

Interpretation of structural engineering drawings and technical specifications

Accurate setting out and alignment to structural tolerances

Coordination with steel fixers and concrete teams during structural pours

Compliance with all health and safety and structural quality standards

Ability to work without supervision in high-pressure project environments

Requirements

Minimum 4–5 years’ proven experience in structural shuttering and reinforced concrete

Demonstrable experience on commercial or civil structural projects

Ability to read and interpret structural engineering drawings independently

Experience working to tight structural tolerances

Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete construction

High attention to detail and quality
