Job Title: Marketing Manager – Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and strategic Marketing Manager to join a leading retail organisation on a maternity cover. This role provides the opportunity to lead marketing initiatives, deliver impactful campaigns, and drive measurable results while collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement marketing plans that support overall business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Manage and execute a calendar of marketing campaigns alongside the Brand Manager.
  • Ensure all campaigns are consistent in messaging, delivered on time, and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Oversee marketing budgets, ensuring campaigns are delivered within financial targets.
  • Conduct research initiatives, including brand tracking and customer segmentation projects.
  • Assist the Head of Marketing with budget management and team oversight.
  • Collaborate with Brand Partners to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Represent marketing in cross-functional teams including HR, Operations, Trading, and Food.
  • Lead planning and execution of company-wide events, including conferences, awards evenings, and annual celebrations.

Candidate Profile:

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing or marketing management, ideally in retail or FMCG.
  • Solid understanding of marketing strategy and campaign management.
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple projects on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and software.
  • Experience leading teams, managing stakeholders, and mentoring staff.
  • Full Irish Driving Licence.

  • Comfortable working collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally when required.
