Clerical Officer Grade IV - Accounts

Contract: 3-month temporary cover

FRS Recruitment are seeking a Grade IV Clerical Officer to join a busy team in Patient Accounts

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly credit entries in line with procedure
• Authorise weekly credits from Adjustment Reports
• Raise invoices promptly and accurately
• Maintain daily cash book entries and month-end reconciliation
• Manage daily checks of the Post Book and cross-reference Receipt Numbers
• Weekly reconciliation of Petty Cash and record-keeping
• Oversee Debt Collection processes
• Collate quarterly statistics for the Business Manager
• Assist with car park cash collection duties as required
• Handle patient account queries and phone payments
• Provide emergency cover for the Cash Office
• Support Invoicing and Credit Note Departments

Requirements:

• Previous experience in accounts or finance is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
