Technical Document Writer

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Document Writer to join their Mechanical & Electrical Section within the Civil Engineering Department on a contract basis.

This role will support the management, inspection, maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems across stations, freight yards, level crossings, residential accommodations and other operational facilities.

• Research, draft, edit, and update technical documents and standards.
• Produce, manage and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Ensure information is accurate, well-structured and accessible.

• Proven experience in publishing technical papers, standards or documentation.
• Strong information management skills with the ability to handle large, complex datasets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong research capabilities.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines.
• Technical or scientific educational background.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and SharePoint.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal teams, suppliers and external service providers.

• Fluent English with a high standard of report writing.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in document management within a technical environment.
