Role: Maintenance technician

Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering with Ireland's national water utility organisation, responsible for delivering safe, reliable and sustainable water and wastewater services to homes and businesses nationwide. As part of our continued investment in Ireland's water infrastructure, we are expanding our operational teams across the country.

We are now seeking skilled Technical Operators, Fitters, and Electricians to join our network of dedicated professionals ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and improvement of essential water and wastewater assets.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your role and experience, your duties may include:

• Operating and maintaining water treatment and wastewater facilities.
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, and control systems.
• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Monitoring plant performance, completing logs, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborating with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to support operational excellence.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• A relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience as a fitter, electrician or mechanical technician.
• Experience in contruction, plant or heavy industry is desiable
• Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to working safely and delivering high-quality results.
• Full, clean driver's licence and flexibility to work across sites if required.
