Location: Dublin City CentreContract: 24-month Fixed Term
Salary: €58,847
We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager for our client, a public sector organisation in Dublin 4.. This is a key role that will ensure the efficient operation of all facilities, administration, and governance functions, contributing to performance and compliance.This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to bring expertise and innovation to a dynamic organisation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement updated facilities, fire safety, and health & safety policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practices.Oversee and coordinate all administrative and operational support services within the organisation.
Ensure sufficient and effective IT resources are in place to support daily operations, manage data entry processes and maintain the client management system.
Monitor and ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and risk management standardsOversee building maintenance, including managing contractors and overseeing maintenance schedules.
Contribute to strategic planning and organisational development as part of the management team.
Manage the Building Information Management System as well as seating control and desk assignment requirements.
Lead and improve the efficient coordination, management and evaluation of all facilities, security, health & safety, and maintenance related tasks.
Manage service staff and assist in training and developmentAssist in managing the facilities budget and monitor expenditure effectively.
Coordinate safety-related training and collaborate with HR on training needs for facilities and wider staff.
Prepare reports, analyse data, and present findings to senior management.
Requirements:
A minimum of a Level 8 (NFQ) degree in a relevant field.
Five years’ relevant demonstrable experience in at least one of the following areas: building management, facilities management or health & safety.
Working knowledge and experience with facilities management principles, systems, and standardsStrong interpersonal and communication skills.
Effective time management and work planning abilities.
Proficiency in document and data management software.
