I'm working exclusively with a leading and rapidly growing asset manager based in Dublin to help them hire a Junior Quantitative Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong interest in financial markets and quantitative analysis to join a dynamic, high-performing team at an exciting stage of their growth journey.

The Role:

As a Junior Quantitative Analyst, you'll work closely with the investment team across a variety of projects involving portfolio analysis, systematic strategy development, and model implementation. You'll also play a key role in enhancing data processes and helping the team leverage large financial datasets to drive investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the execution and implementation of trades
• Assisting with monthly reporting: portfolio positioning, performance, and risk analytics
• Developing and testing systematic investment strategies
• Conducting statistical and quantitative analysis of asset pricing, risk, and returns
• Back testing trading signals using historical market data
• Automating and enhancing data processes for investment decision-making
• Building proprietary quant models and analytical tools
• Identifying inefficiencies and opportunities using large, complex datasets
• Improving workflows through automation and model optimization

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Exposure to Python and/or SQL (or an eagerness to learn)
• A genuine interest in financial markets and quantitative investing
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently
• Collaborative team player
• Prior experience (internships or 1-2 years) in asset management, trading, or financial data analysis is a plus, but not essential
