Carpenter wanted for Cork City and Suburbs

We are looking for a Carpenter for Cork City and the suburbs.

The successful candidate must me proficient with 1st and 2nd Fix Carpentry with a minimum of five years’ experience. We require a carpenter with a background in construction in all aspects of carpentry Communicate with the Site Manager and Construction Manager, aiding the completion of the site requirements within the project deadlines.

Requirements

A minimum of 4 years 1st and 2nd Fix Carpentry experience

A good knowledge of construction

Safe Pass Certificate

Manual Handling Certificate

Own tools

Own transport

References required

The ability to work independently in line with project deadlines

Job Duties:

Working knowledge of materials used in carpentry

Working knowledge of relevant tools & equipment

Ensuring all accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformances are fully reported

Training apprentices and/or coworkers

Managing or working with subcontractors

Reading and interpreting drawings

Understanding customer requirements

Responding to change orders

Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety guidelines and procedures
