Social Care Worker - Westmeath New

Cpl Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of Tusla for compassionate and dedicated Social Care Workers to join a children's residential service in Westmeath. This is an exciting permanent opportunity to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a structured and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment for children in care.
• Support the social, emotional, and developmental needs of children.
• Implement care plans in collaboration with the team and relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Tusla policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Promote the rights, wellbeing, and development of children at all times.

Requirements:

• Full Manual Driving Licence (essential).
• Minimum QQI Level 7 in Social care or a related qualification or Eligible to register with CORU.
• Previous experience in social care or a children’s residential setting is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
