Sustainability Officer New

Sustainability Officer - On-site/Hybrid

We are seeking a passionate and driven Sustainability Officer to lead and enhance our organization's sustainability initiatives across all ESG pillars. This role will support the integration of sustainable practices into daily operations, with a strong focus on environmental performance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution and development of the company-wide sustainability strategy.
• Track and report on GHG emissions, manage carbon footprint data, and liaise with external consultants to support Science Based Targets.
• Prepare for CSRD compliance through extensive cross-departmental data collection and analysis.
• Engage with internal teams and clients to align sustainability goals and drive progress.
• Monitor and reduce food waste in collaboration with kitchen teams.
• Chair the Sustainability Steering Committee and report progress to senior leadership.
• Support external sustainability certifications and partnerships (e.g., Origin Green, BITCI).
• Draft and implement sustainable policies and assess their impact.
• Conduct research and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering).
• Experience with carbon reporting and GHG emissions (Scope 1–3).
• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and Science Based Targets.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.

Preferred:

• Experience in the food, catering, or hospitality sector.
• Familiarity with CSRD, ESG reporting, and sustainability certifications.
