Managing Director – Food Industry
Location: Dublin
We’re seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a well-established company within the food industry, overseeing sales, marketing, operations, logistics, and R&D functions. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role offers the chance to shape strategy, drive operational performance, and directly influence bottom-line success.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategic and operational planning focused on growth and cost optimisation.Manage and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
Drive sales and marketing strategies to identify and secure new opportunities.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring functional teams deliver against clear objectives.
Champion continuous improvement and foster a high-performance culture.
Maintain quality standards and operational excellence across all functions.
Manage P&L accountability, resource allocation, and ongoing performance measurement.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong commercial acumen with experience developing and delivering sales and marketing strategies.Proven leadership experience managing multi-functional teams within the food industry.
Hands-on experience with R&D or a clear understanding of product development processes.
History of growing sales teams in international markets.
Strong organisational, communication, and analytical skills.
Confident in managing bottom-line profitability and reporting at board level.
