Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support financial operations and administrative processes. This role involves managing invoicing, logistics compliance, and assisting with day-to-day financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, collections, and account reconciliation
- Support month-end processes, particularly during busy periods (end of month and Fridays)
- Assist with closing shipments and ensuring accurate financial recording
- Manage weekly workflow cycles and maintain task organization
- Maintain and update records using Excel
- Coordinate ASAP hires and onboarding support
- Ensure logistics and compliance requirements are met
- Liaise with transport companies regarding leasing and operational needs
- Support reporting to management and senior stakeholders
- Assist with general administrative duties across finance and operations
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good understanding of AR processes and financial administration
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners
- Detail-oriented and reliable
- Comfortable handling multiple responsibilities
