This is an exciting opportunity for talented chefs who are passionate about authentic Asian cuisine and eager to bring their creativity and expertise to a vibrant and growing brand.
Role Overview:As Asian Wok Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in defining the kitchen’s culinary identity, specialising in wok techniques and authentic Asian sauces. You will prepare and execute signature dishes with precision, maintain consistency and quality across menus, and bring authentic Asian street food flavours to the forefront.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, deep knowledge of Asian cuisine, and a passion for delivering bold, authentic flavours.
Key Responsibilities:Expertly prepare and execute a variety of authentic Asian wok dishes with attention to flavour, texture, and presentation.
Develop, refine, and deliver menus inspired by Nonya, Malay, Thai, Korean, and Vietnamese street food.
Prepare, test, and perfect a wide range of traditional Asian sauces essential to the kitchen’s identity.
Maintain consistency in portioning, cooking standards, and presentation across all dishes.
Collaborate with the team on seasonal menus, specials, and promotional offerings.
Manage stock rotation, ingredient use, and ordering efficiently to reduce waste.
Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food hygiene regulations at all times.
Candidate Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ professional experience specialising in Asian wok cooking.
Proven expertise in Nonya, Malay, Thai, Korean, and Vietnamese street food traditions.Strong technical background in developing and executing authentic Asian sauces.
Fluency in English and Cantonese.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.
Solid knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
