Accounts & Payroll Administrator

A leading food manufacturing company based in Longford is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our on-site team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts professional looking to grow their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing sales invoices accurately and efficiently
• Inputting bank receipts and carrying out bank reconciliations
• Issuing customer statements and maintaining credit control procedures
• Managing and processing weekly and monthly payroll using MicroPay
• Handling employment permit applications
• Maintaining and monitoring stock control of finished products
• Monitoring the stock system for raw materials and producing relevant reports
• Preparing and filing VAT, VIES, and Intrastat returns
• Supporting the Office Manager with month-end account closure

Requirements:

• 2–3 years' experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Sage, MicroPay, and general IT/accounting software
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
