Our client a well established Care Home provider of the highest standards of service and care for both long and short term needs are currently recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager for one of their home based in Sligo. The Residential Care Home is registered to accommodate 70 residents who require long-term residential care or who require short-term respite, convalescence, dementia or palliative care.

The facility is a well-established nursing home with a strong culture of further education and career development.

The nursing home is located in Sligo town and is a short walk from bus services and the train station. The building is divided into two residential unit which accommodate 35 residents each.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the supervise nursing and care teams to ensure exceptional care delivery
  • Assist the ADON and DON in the management of individual care planning, assessments, and resident reviews
  • Oversee medication administration, wound care, and clinical governance
  • Assist the ADON and DON in the infection control and quality improvement initiatives
  • Support staff mentorship, development, and compliance training
  • Liaise with GPs, families, specialists, and external agencies
  • Maintain regulatory standards in line with HIQA requirements

Candidate Requirements :

  • NMBI-registered General Nurse (active PIN required)
  • Minimum 3 years post-registration experience in a nursing home or similar setting
  • Proven leadership experience in a CNM or senior nursing role
  • Deep knowledge of HIQA standards and clinical best practice
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills

CNM: €24.65/ hour (€50K)
