Medical Administrator - 3 month New

Cpl are currently recruiting for a professional and highly organised Medical Administrator to join our client, a new medical office, setting up in Killarney. This role is ideal for an experienced administrator with strong customer service and IT skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Contract: Temporary (3 Months) initially
This contract will be a temporary 3-month contract initially with every possibility that it will extend for the right candidate.

Hours: Mon to Fri
Key Responsibilities- Welcome patients and visitors in a professional, friendly, and empathetic manner.
- Manage incoming telephone calls, emails, and general enquiries efficiently.
- Schedule, amend, and confirm appointments using electronic management systems.
- Register new patients and maintain accurate electronic records.
- Coordinate patient check-in and check-out procedures.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality requirements and data protection regulations.
- Carry out general administrative duties including scanning, filing, document management, and data entry.
- Process payments and assist with invoicing.
- Maintain a professional and organised reception area.
- Minimum 1 year's administration experience.
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience using practice management, healthcare, or business administration software is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
