OB Design and Engineering is an expanding Automation company based in South Tipperary we design, program, manufacture, service and install automation machines for companies throughout Ireland.
We are currently looking to hire qualified Service Engineers and Automation Electrician
Applicants must have experience with automation machinery such as robotic cells, filling machines, packaging equipment conveyors etc. The ability to use a Lathe and Mill is a plus.The successful candidates will be required to work on and service automation equipment both in our workshop and on site for clients.
Automation ElectricianMust be fully qualified.
Experience with electrical panels and plc control systems.
Experience in wiring automation machinery.
Ability to plc program is a bonus but not essential.
Willing to help out with mechanical fitting as required.
Must be able work on own using own initiative and as part of a team.
Work mainly based on site in workshop in South Tipperary but will need to travel to clients sites.
Full drivers license and own transportation is a must. Millage will be paid.
The successful applicants will work with a small team of automation engineers / technicians on builds, installations and servicing of automation machines in medical and food factories. This is a hands-on job working with machinery.
Salary is negotiable and depending on experience.
