An exciting opportunity with a leading European asset servicing company and a major global player.
Contract Type: 6 Months Fixed Term Contract
The role involves overseeing the daily NAV valuations done by the Fund Accounting (FA) production team, ensuring they are completed on time and accurately.
The candidate will also help with client reporting across the Fund Accounting team, producing daily, weekly, and occasional reports. Additionally, they will support the Team Manager in maintaining a client-focused approach.
What will you do?- Organise and own personal daily work schedule of allocated funds and reporting. This will include balancing NAV oversight responsibilities with reporting deliverables
- Provide Fund Accounting support to allocated clients
- Supervise the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all processes
- Monitors key quality, productivity and risk measures and ensure that they are met or exceeded
- Adhere to comprehensive operating procedures that ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all processes
- Support team manager with project and client requests
- Minimise processing errors and financial losses
- Documentation of business support procedures
- Coordinate and administer assignments and maintain schedules
- Demonstrate awareness of technical requirements for accounting products
- Build a cohesive team spirit within the Fund Accounting team that will foster a clear client service focus, operational efficiency and an error free environment
- Post-secondary education in accounting/finance or equivalent
- Previous financial services industry experience in an operations environment
- Teamwork and cooperation oriented mindset
- Good communication skills
- Good business acumen
- Proven analytical thinking skills
- Risk management and mitigation focus
- Proven organisational and time management skills.
- Industry, accounting or other recognised accredited program would be an asset
- Client-facing experience
