Application Details

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.

Job Description

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

The position will be in the above area.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • To work with service users in addressing their day-to-day substance dependency issues.
  • To be there as a support for adult male and female service users on a day to day basis.
  • To assist in the planning, delivery and evaluation of arts based, educational, life skills and personal development workshops.
  • To co-facilitate arts based groups as required.
  • To manage a small case load of participants in relation key working - preparing care plans and engaging participants weekly on a one to one basis.
  • To attend all the weekly meetings – Team, Progression, Relapse and Planning.
Administration:
  • To maintain and update accurate day-to-day records in relation to key working duties.
  • To undertake any other administrative duties as and when required.
  • To maintain social media platforms and contributing to the annual showcase and any other performances, exhibitions, duties related to technology etc. that RADE undertake
