Tax Accountant

With offices in Dublin 2, our client are a leading global investment bank that provide a wide range of financial services, including capital markets, investment banking, and corporate banking.

They are seeking a highly motivated, recently qualified Tax Accountant to manage corporate and VAT tax reporting for their UK and Irish entities. This broad role involves working with various business and finance teams to ensure accurate, timely tax reporting and compliance.

You'll play a key role in maintaining strong financial controls and will collaborate with teams in the UK and Ireland.

This is a permanent opportunity offering up to €75,000+, bonus and comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage tax reporting and compliance for corporate tax and VAT (partial exemption for financial services)
• Prepare tax provisions and returns for UK and Irish entities
• Assist with statutory reporting, tax disclosures, and financial statement reviews
• Ensure timely tax payments and compliance with UK and Irish tax regulations
• Collaborate with finance teams to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines
• Lead ad hoc local and global tax projects

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant or Tax Advisor
• Strong knowledge of UK and Irish corporate tax and VAT
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality results
• Experience motivating teams and driving process improvements
