Accounts Receivable / Credit Control (Part-Time – 4 Days per Week)

We’re currently working with a well-established client in Drogheda who is looking to hire an Accounts Receivable / Credit Control professional to join their finance team. This is a part-time role, ideally 4 days per week, with flexibility on hours — making it a great option for someone seeking work–life balance while still using their experience.

The role focuses on managing customer accounts, maintaining cash flow, and supporting the wider finance function through accurate, proactive credit control.

Location: Drogheda (On-site)
Working Pattern: Part-time – 4 days per week (flexible hours)
Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor outstanding customer balances to support healthy cash flow
Process and reconcile customer invoices, payments and credit notes
Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and agree payment plans where required
Resolve billing queries and account discrepancies in a timely manner
Assess credit risk for new and existing customers and support credit limit reviews
Carry out regular account reconciliations and aged debtor analysis
Prepare reports on accounts receivable and collections activity
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal credit policies
Build positive working relationships with customers while ensuring payment terms are met

Work closely with the wider finance team to support month-end and reporting processes

Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Credit Control
Good understanding of credit management and debtor processes
Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Comfortable analysing data and resolving issues independently

Proficient with accounting systems and Excel
