PE Global Healthcare is working with an esteemed client, and we have vacancies for Social Care Workers in Cork, Kildare and Meath!

These are full-time, permanent roles, ideally to start as soon as possible.

You must be eligible to work in Ireland as sponsorship is NOT provided for these roles.

Your role:

The primary objective of this post is to provide care and support through a person-centred approach which meets the practical, physical and emotional needs of service users, with an Intellectual Disability/ABI/Autism. To assist persons with a disability with residential, training and day service activities to achieve their highest level of functioning, to maintain independence and/or to improve skills that will make them more independent.

Requirements:

• A qualification at Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications in Social Care, Social Work, Youth Work, Teaching, Nursing, Childcare with Disability modules (or other relevant discipline/qualification)
• Have at least 2 years experience of working in a residential, respite or day service setting with people with an intellectual disability so as to be able to discharge the full range of duties, functions, responsibilities and activities, required of the role.
• Applicants must be CORU registered or currently in the process of obtaining CORU registration.
