Avondhu Blackwater Partnership is responsible for managing 98km of walking trails in the North Cork Region. We have a placement available to work as part of a small team to help maintain these walking trails.
This role has a dual responsibility. You will help monitor the walking trails but also promote and market the trails through our social media channels.
Responsibilities:- Monitor all the trails on an ongoing basis
- Record any repairs and remedial works to be carried out by the maintenance
- Prepare trails for annual auditing by Sports Ireland
- Taking photos and writing articles for social media and local press.
- Overseeing social media channels - scheduling posts, answering enquiries and
logging statistics of regional reach.
Skills:- Full driving licence required.
- Good communication and writing abilities
- Be able to work well in a team environment
