Experienced Pharmacy Dispensary Technician- Galway City
We are seeking an Experienced Pharmacy Dispensary Technician- Galway City to join our team in Galway City, close to the University for this full-time permanent role, to commence at the end of August. This is a full-time permanent role.
The person: The ideal candidate will be an important part of the dispensary team, ensuring accurate and patient-focussed dispensing, medications management and liaising with other healthcare professionals every day. In particular you will be involved in the organisation of the supply of medicines to our nursing home patients and will be required to routinely liaise with the nursing homes.
We are a dynamic dispensary team technicians and pharmacists interacting with a range of other healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, consultants, nursing home managers etc) involved in the dispensing, preparation and supply of medicines.We are looking for an experienced pharmacy technician who is, like us, passionate about providing excellent healthcare to, and exceptional customer experience for, our customers.

Experience/background of the Ideal Candidate
It is essential to have at least one year’s IRISH dispensary experience (working with the Irish medicine’s system) demonstrating familiarity with the Irish dispensing process, stock management and very strong understanding of the PCRS/GMS requirements ideally using MPS/McLernons dispensary system; Previous experience in robotic dispensing would be an advantage; Written and spoken fluency in the English language is a minimum requirement; You will have excellent attention to detail, good communication and organisational skills
Working Hours: As the pharmacy opens to 9pm on Monday to Friday, and 12-6pm on Sundays and Bank holidays, the role will involve late evenings, Sundays and bank holidays.- Sector:
