First Year Apprentice Vacancy

Comeragh Forklifts Limited trading as Comeragh Machinery & Auto Repairs requires an Apprentice Construction Plant Fitter.

As an apprentice, you will be trained to undertake all levels of maintenance and repairs of forklift trucks, warehouse equipment, light commercials etc. You will learn to maintain, diagnose, and resolve technical concerns in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

This is a 4-year apprenticeship programme in conjunction with SOLAS. Upon successful completion of all seven SOLAS phases, you will receive an advanced certificate craft level 6 on the national framework of qualifications.

Requirements: Mechanical experience/interest is a must

Driving licence required (full/learners permit)

Commitment to a 4-year programme that involves both on and off-the-job training which may require travel.
