Business sales executive
BC Stores/Centra Dublin
The core responsibilities of the role include:
- Identify and actively pursue new sales opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales activity within the CRM system to support forecasting and decision-making.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer demand to position products effectively in the market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, retail partners, and key customers.
- Manage and grow existing accounts by increasing order value, frequency, and long-term customer retention.
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets through proactive customer engagement and effective sales strategies.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new sales opportunities and improve product performance.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients and partners.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to support product launches, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, identifying trends and recommending actions to improve revenue and profitability.
- Support and implement in-store promotions, product placements, and sales initiatives to maximise visibility and conversion.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to generate leads and build partnerships.
- Prepare regular sales reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) to track performance and support planning.
- Assist in the execution of quarterly and annual sales strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
- Engage directly with customers to understand requirements and provide suitable product recommendations.
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles, ideally within retail or FMCG.
- Strong ability to build relationships, influence customers, and close sales opportunities.
- Good understanding of retail sales cycles, product movement, and customer behaviour.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); CRM experience is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and identify opportunities.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Adaptable, commercially aware, and focused on delivering results.
Annual Salary: 36,605.00
Hourly Rate: €18.04
