Job Purpose
The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of goods to customers, while providing a high level of customer service and representing the company in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to customers on assigned routes
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in full
- Verify delivery information, obtain customer signatures, and manage delivery documentation
- Handle goods with care to prevent damage or loss
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Provide excellent customer service and address basic customer queries
- Assist with warehouse or depot duties when required
