Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.
To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre.
Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.

Do you have an interest in social care and enjoy helping people? Would you like to make people laugh and smile, whilst helping people learn new skills. The Iona Resource Centre is requiring a CE general assistant to assist in various timetabled sessions of its day service.our blind and visually impaired service users love learning new skills whilst having fun in enjoyable sessions, such as exercise classes, quizzes, brain gym, IT and many more.
Duties will include: Supporting service users at our day centre in various timetabled sessions and offsite outings
Provide sight guide supportSocialising and engaging with service users when they are in service.
When required driving a day service vehicle.
Opportunity to work towards QQI and /or industry standard qualifications.
The ideal candidate will have: Caring nature and enjoy supporting and assisting people.
The ability to work as part of a team.A willingness to engage in training.
Driver preferred.
