Production Operative – Cork City Centre

Production Operative:To work within the Production Floor to ensure that all product is produced in accordance with the production plan whilst ensuring that quality standards are met and operating procedures are followed. This is a short term contract for a number of weeks in the run up to Christmas etc.
Candidates must have a current manual handling cert and safety boots.
Duties: Work as part of a team in a busy production environment
Achieve daily/weekly production targetsComply with systems of working & participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Completion of all documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain a high level of personal hygiene as outlined in relevant company policies and SOPs
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in workspace & other areas as assigned
Cross train in other production roles as required
Adherence to Health & Safety procedures
Ad hoc duties as instructed by Management and Team Leaders
Experience and Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential for these roles.
Knowledge of standard operating procedures quality practices is a requirement.Experience in a similar role in the Food production industry advantageous. Leaving Certificate qualification

Proficiency in the English language is a requirement

Must be flexible to work overtime, if / when required
39 hours per week
Working hours:
07:40 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday
07:40 – 15:10 Friday
