Occupational Therapist - Dublin

Staff Grade Occupational Therapist ?

Salary: HSE Payscale- dependent on experience

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in an inpatient mental health setting in Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals in various stages of psychiatric recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy services to service users with mental health needs.
• Facilitate occupation-based and psycho-educational groups to support recovery and skill development.
• Deliver individual and group interventions, including virtual sessions where appropriate.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain high standards of professional practice, including clinical documentation and adherence to ethical guidelines.

Essential Criteria:

• CORU registration or registration pending (must provide proof)
• Hold a qualification in Occupational Therapy recognised by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT).
• Experience working with service users with psychiatric illness across a range of recovery stages.
• Proven ability to facilitate occupation-based and psycho-educational groups.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries in all service user interactions.

Requirements:

• Experience in an inpatient mental health setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Teams and Outlook.
• Experience facilitating virtual interventions for both groups and individuals.
• Demonstrate adherence to professional standards, including the maintenance of strict clinical boundaries in all service user interactions
