Aureol Global Connections is seeking two experienced Mechanical Estimators to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for mechanical projects, ensuring that all aspects of the work are accounted for in terms of material, labor, and overhead costs.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather relevant information and provide detailed bid proposals. Responsibilities
  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate mechanical cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Identify and quantify all material, labor, and equipment costs necessary for project completion.
  • Prepare and submit detailed bid proposals, ensuring all work is priced competitively and accurately.
  • Conduct risk assessments to ensure estimates account for potential issues or unforeseen costs.
  • Maintain an organized database of cost information and historical data for future reference.
  • Assist in value engineering efforts to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, pricing changes, and best practices in mechanical estimating.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and an understanding of construction processes.
  • Proficient in estimating software and tools, along with MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
